Each lift is given a speed,

VERY SLOW - less than 0.4 mps,
SLOW - 0.4 to 0.79 mps,
MEDIUM - 0.8 to 1.69 mps,
FAST - 1.7 to 2.89 mps,
VERY FAST - 2.9 to 4.8 mps,
HIGH SPEED - more than 4.8 mps.
