Seven Sisters Tesco's secret housing estate

At tescos at Seven sisters I went in the lift and went to the top floor which was car parking and there was a fire exit door that was open, I went in the fire exit door and there were stairs leading up, at the top of the stairs there was a housing estate. The housing estate is above the tescos car park. After looking around i found that there were two ways into the housing estate, the fire exit i had came up and the main entrance that is around the back of tescos. Most people go down the fire exit rather than go down the main way as the main way is round the back of tescos and has long walk to get back to the high street.

St Just - Levant Mine museum
This was the lift in an old tin mine. The lift was just a cage that is lowered down the mine shaft. The people in the cage don't control the lift, another person has to drive the lift using a handle next to the motor. the people in the lift have to press a button that rings a bell to tell the person by the motor to start moving the lift. The lift is no longer there but the motor is and still works.

At Levant mine museum, as well as the lift motor, there is a beam engine that used to move a very long ladder up and down. so if someone was in the mine and wanted to get out they would wait for the ladder to move down jump on it and it would take them up a few meters where the would have been a platform, then they would jump of the ladder and onto the platform wait for the ladder to move down then they would get back on the ladder to be taken up to the next platform.

Near Levant mine there is Geever mine, there is no working machinery there but you can actually go down the mine there which you can't at levant mine, but you can only see a very small part of the mine only a few meters away from the surface.

Meadowhall is a very large shopping center but it is very crap. Most the lifts are slow (some are MEDIUM) and none of the lifts are fast
