Brick version of this classic architecture. This style of block has the main staircase in the middle which is surrounded by glass windows which allows daylight into the main communal area. An intersting feature of this design is that there is 2 seperates staircases up to the plant room level (floor 17).

A weird thing is the plant room on floor 17 is full of boilers. More boilers than you would expect for this block. There are so many boilers that they can't all fit in the plant room and some are outside on the roof!
