T stock - 5200

In service 1980 - 2012

These old trains only run ocaionally when they have run out of other trains. I was lucky anough to get on one. They have nice sounding DC motors.

B & S stocks - 5300 & 5400

In service 1998 - present

These have AC motors powered by frequency generators that produce a number of different frequencys (not fully varible frequency) and you can hear when the frequancy changes.

R stock - 5500 & 5600

In service 2008 - present

These are modern and practical, but very dull.

And now for the Rotterdam trams

These were assembled from older tram parts!

These have had their motors replaced (their motors are now the same as the 1st batch of citadis)

CITADIS 1st batch
