Aldous & Campbell Lift Company

Aldous & Campbell were a great lift company that made lifts from the 1900s to 1967. They made a lot of the lifts at railway stations in the south east, but all of these lifts have now been replaced or abandoned. It is now very rare to find an Aldous & Campbell lift. Aldous & Campbell merged with the General Hydraulic Power Company in 1961. and were taken over by Hammond & Champness in 1967.
